Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the myFoodie mobile application and related website (together, the “Service”). By using myFoodie, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

myFoodie helps you discover personalized recipes, build meal plans, track nutrition, set reminders, manage favorites and shopping lists, and optionally analyze meals with your camera. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use myFoodie. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, trial periods, and plan details are shown in the app and on the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are handled by the store where you purchased, subject to that store’s policies.

4. Health & nutrition disclaimer

myFoodie provides general wellness and nutrition information for informational purposes only. Calorie estimates, macro targets, recipe suggestions, and camera-based analysis are approximations and may be incomplete or inaccurate. myFoodie is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or special dietary needs.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt our systems
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as allowed by law
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Use myFoodie for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing

6. Intellectual property

The myFoodie name, logo, app design, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use our branding without permission. You keep ownership of content you submit (such as photos you upload); you grant us a license to use that content to operate and improve the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third parties such as Apple, Google, and payment or analytics providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that nutrition estimates or recommendations will meet your goals.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, myFoodie and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

10. Termination

You may stop using myFoodie at any time and may delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
